The Round House is a unique, stone-built round house, set in a beautiful walled garden just below King Richard’s castle in the village of Middleham and can sleep two people. This cottage has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Quirky Cottage
We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday in this quirky but very comfortable cottage. Although small it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday for two. Set in a walled vegetable garden with its own allocated private patio, it is very peaceful and quiet. The owners are really helpful and friendly and can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Local pubs, restaurants and a traditional country shop are two minutes walk away and it is within an hours drive of most of the local tourist attractions.

This is a very attractive, unusual and cosy cottage in a beautiful setting.
Mrs Burton

The Round House is in a quiet location overlooking farmland with grazing sheep. The stables were close by and it was wonderful to hear the clip clopping of horses. There was beautiful countryside on your doorstep with good shopping, restaurants and pubs very accessible. Would certainly stay here again.
Mrs Corlett

The Round House was in a brilliant location for many walks or days out. There were some really good pubs nearby serving good food and ale. The owners were very pleasant and helpful and we would definitely use the cottage again.

Quirky property with the 'Wow' factor & could not have asked for more. Property in a nice quite and secluded spot overlooking fields of sheep. Hosts extremely friendly & helpful which made our stay even better. We will definitely be returning. A 5 star stay!
