A little slice of heaven
We booked Hurst Green quite a while in advance, but were delighted with what we found. Ewyas Harold is a lovely little village with all the best amenities you could want from a village. Two good pubs, a very well appointed shop, local butchers and one of the best fish and chip shops you will find anywhere. The house was superbly appointed, well decorated, comfortable for the five of us and had a snug beautifully kept garden that we took great delight in spending a lot of time in! The welcoming pack of milk, tea and coffee was a lovely little touch and much appreciated. Seriously considering going back there again next year. An absolute little gem and a delight. Book now folks!

Gorgeous holiday cottage with superb attention to detail.
Wonderful holiday cottage with lovely little extra touches such as a welcoming tray of tea, coffee, biscuits and a pint of milk which was very welcome after a long journey. The cottage is a modern bungalow close the village centre. Beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout plus nice extras such as goose down duvets and high thread count cotton bedding. The bungalow is ideally situated in a beautiful village perfect for exploring the wider area although the lovely garden and the nice local pubs and butchers mean you need not travel anywhere else if you don't wish to. Lovely place to stay and a real home from home. WiFi here but no mobile phone signal (lovely to get away from it if I am honest). Bungalow was spotlessly clean on arrival.

We love this home - it is the 2nd time we have been and we would not hesitate to go again. It is very well equipped, very comfortable and in a lovely area.

The property was lovely with so much attention to detail. The local pub The Dog Inn was very welcoming, the local butchers had great local lamb and the post office general stores was extremely well stocked. Walks on the common were so nice and we saw the beautiful wild ponies. I would recommend Hurst Green to any nice people.

I loved the fact that everything we needed in the house was easy to find, well-organized and clearly explained. Moreover, absolutely everything worked. The lady letting the property is obviously very thoughtful and tidy and she deserves praise. Hurst Green gave us the perfect relaxing holiday. The village is delightful, with a fantastic shop, two good pubs and a friendly butcher. It is located close to great attractions and beautiful walks.
