Peak District Self Catering cottage, Pickle Cottage, Middleton, sleeps 8

The location was perfect for our needs, cycling, walking and socialising in lovely pubs! The locals were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel welcome by the cottage owners and all the people we met in the village. The cottage kitchen is more than adequate to facilitate cooking on an evening of which we did and if that is too much trouble then many eating establishments are not too far away . We had a brilliant time.

The location in the heart of the village with lots of wonderful walks on the doorstep and very little traffic - it was like going back in time. The Cottage was comfortable and had everything you need.

A well appointed property in a pleasant village. We were made very welcome by the owners. Enjoyed the facilities and activities of the adjoining pub. A good base for many walking routes.
