Lovely cottage in beautiful location
Recently stopped here with my wife, daughter and dog. Cottage is very well equipped with a?l of the amenities you would would expect in a home away from home. The hot tub is a welcome addition and in an excellent location away from the house and next to the brook. The bathroom is ok however would benefit from a new shower ( i think this is already in their plans for the future). Parkimg is not straightforward but I was able to negotiate with my wife guiding me in without much issue (I have a nissan qashqai) Overall very impressed with the cottage and would recommend!

fantastic stay, lovely host
we stayed here in august 4 adults with two dogs. This is the nicest place that we have stayed with the dogs for quite some time. The cottage is lovely and clean with everything that we would have expected. The pub down the road is also exceptional. All in all a fantastic week, we will be returning, thank you.

Bilberry Nook Cottage is a beautifully decorated and spacious cottage, with a lovely big patio door overlooking the garden and river at bottom of the garden. Bilberry Nook Cottage gives easy walking access to the Weardale way, miles of signposted walking beside the river Wear. The owner, Joanne, runs a beauty therapy business offering 10% discount to cottage guests. I had a wonderful massage from her. Having a pub nearby with their own microbrewery and delicious food was very handy!
