Yorkshire Coast Self Catering cottage, Greengables, Filey, sleeps 4

Ideally located & clean
Property was just as described clean & relatively comfortable. The open plan area was spacious & the kitchen was well kitted out for self catering. The lack of wifi was irritating to my granddaugter but it didn't bother me. I found the sofa was too low & the dining chairs were so heavy me and my grandaughter struggled to move them. I had difficulty parking anywhere near the property as all the other properties had more than one car so mine ended up round on the road near the archery centre, not a massive problem but thought parking near the property should be described as first come first served as there are no specific parking places. Beach was lovely and the walk down was lovely. We used the shop & the cafe once and the staff were very helpful & friendly.

A home from home to relax at the end of a day exploring the best Yorkshire has to offer.
Lovely well equipped apartment at The Bay, Filey. Great on site amenities including a pub with excellent food on offer each evening. We took our dog and he really enjoyed his twice daily walks on the beautiful beach. The apartment was very clean, warm and welcoming, a true home from home.

Great holiday base
Nice furnished accommodation close to site amenities pub restaurant gym swimming good access to beach and nicely positioned for trips into Filey and Scarborough .the site is dog friendly which was great and during our stay it was all responsible owners keeping dogs on leash and cleaning up after them.we would reccomend and will return to the bay

Greengables is very thoughtfully furnished and decorated. We loved the massive family sized sofa and carpets throughout. We have already recommended to family and friends.

Greengables was a lovely apartment, warm, cosy and immaculately clean. It was a home from home. The village was very pleasant and the on site facilities and activities good. All in all a very good base for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire coast.
