Best holiday yet !
Where do I start! Best place we have ever booked, arrived to the best greeting from staff, room was ready 3 and half hours early they allowed us to check in no problem! Beautiful lodge with hot tub! Open the front door of our lodge to cake and balloons which was absolutely amazing ! They took the time to read our reservation and noticed it was my birthday! So much attention to detail! Very clean and tidy ?? Site is absolutely beautiful can?t fault it at all its a shame the diner had shut down but it's no issue for us as plenty of places to eat out! The snow was so pretty over the hills! The views are insane! It's so peaceful and quiet here! Will 110% be returning to this park couldn?t ask for anymore thank you so much for the warm welcome kids absolutely love it to once our new baby arrives we will be back ! Thank you !!!!

Very pleasant site
Took a week at Brunston Castle lodges by way of a time share swap deal. Going in November, the advantage is that the site (and roads) are quiet but, conversely, not all the local facilities are open. Although there were only two of us, we had a 3 bedroom lodge so there were acres of space. There is a standard additional charge for heating/ elec at £50 which I initially thought to be a bit steep but this allowed us, in the event of cold weather, to keep the heating going full time. The weather proved to be excellent - we even managed coffee outside on the veranda after returning from a walk so that constant heating was not a requirement. We were certainly never cold and we had to keep turning the heating down. The lodges are well-appointed with everything we needed but the kitchen is a little compact. Not sure I would have been comfortable with full occupancy(6). The site is well laid out with plenty of space between the lodges, with woods running away to the side of the site. Onsite reception/ staff were more than helpful and friendly, with a coffee bar, small bar, games room, large heated indoor pool and sauna. There isn't a great deal in Dailly (supermarket) but the adjacent golf clubhouse was a more than adequate source of meals for those nights when we weren't self-catering. Excellent fish and chips from a mobile van on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The local area proved to be very good for walking but I still can't get to grips with the Scottish open-access policy which is anything but open - locked gates, broken stiles etc. A trip up and down the coast is very good - sandy/ rocky beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay ( the weather certainly helped) and would recommend this site, although main season prices seem high. We were so impressed, we booked again with a huge discount on "Black Friday"!!

Holiday trade
Booked this as a last minute trade & have been pleasantly surprised how nice it is. The site is well laid out & the properties are a good size. The views are good & it is very quiet as their are no dogs allowed and the games room, swimming pool & reception are a short distance away from the properties. The downsides are that the property we had looks slightly dated, there aren't enough sockets in accessable areas & the hot water only half filled a bath. Still a nice place.
