Sheperd's View is a detached sheperd's hut situated in the countryside near Rhayader in Powys. It has one double bed studio accommodation, with a shower room, the property can sleep two people. Also inside there is an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area.
To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with a lawn area and patio with a hot tub. Sheperd's View is a delightful little cottage in a beautiful location.

Beautiful Views
Stunning views from a very cleverly designed plot. Even though there are other huts (and further hobbit houses being built as of Oct 2020) it still feels like you have privacy.
The layout of the hut is exceptional with every piece of it used to great effect.
The bed is surprisingly comfortable and the heating, my main concern about these type of stays, was toasty warm and effective throughout.
Very pretty design and touches.
Well proportioned, with all the equipment one would need for a stay, including fresh milk supplied.
There were a few small niggles - sent directly to Sykes Cottages - that stopped me giving 5 stars - but you definitely wouldn?t be disappointed at all with a stay here and all small things easily rectified should the owners chose to and likely due to a back to back season because of Covid.
Would stay again and recommend without hesitation.

Lovely place
Stayed in shepherds view such a lovely place so clean and tidy the owners are so lovely, we went into the royla Welsh only a short drive this is second time me and my partner has been up here cant wait to come back in November with friends

JUST BOOK IT! AMAZING!!
Just stayed at one of the Shepard's huts, it was AMAZING!! The pictures don't do justice on the view from the hotub. So relaxing, Gemma was only a text away if we needed anything! Although we got caught up in storm Hannah we still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Love the enclosed garden (although one of my rascals found a way out, but he always does!!)
Defiantly coming back!!!!

Amazing time
Recently stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The views are breath taking and it is so cosy inside. It has everything you would need for a break for two. Our dog absolutely loved the enclosed garden space and there were plenty of picturesque walks within 15 miles. Already looked at booking again for next year and would highly recommend.
