Named after Hugh Gilson, a former FBA Director, known for his contribution to the association, this wonderful cottage has an open plan living area, delightful bedroom and bathroom, all set in peaceful surroundings. An ideal romantic base for a relaxing holiday.

About the owner - Founded in 1929, The Freshwater Biological Association (FBA) is a thriving membership association, independent scientific organisation and a registered charity. The FBA promote freshwater science through a number of ways, such as innovative research, science projects, training courses and workshops, maintained specialist scientific facilities, national and international scientific meetings and publications. By booking this property, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Freshwater Biological Association for the duration of your stay.
