Absolutely stunning
Had a really wonderful long weekend stay at Broadwood barn, we could not find fault with it, all four of us loved it and so did the dog there was everything there that you would need, clean and tidy just perfect including at welcome park wine, bread, milk, etc. The views and country side were amazing. Idea location for Caving and Hiking which we enjoyed in the Peak District. Would highly recommend a stay here and will be returning ourselves.

Beautiful Accommodation with Beautiful Scenery
We arrived during the heavy flooding of November 2019; we were a bit concerned about getting there but all was good. The owner was extremely helpful and advised that the management contractor had advised that there would be no problem getting there. When we arrived the accommodation was exactly as described and yes it does include the steep walk up and down from the parking area. The views make it all worth it though. He accommodation was really clean with all utensils and towels and anything else that you might need for a really relaxing stay here.

Gorgeous Barn Conversion
This is a fantastic property to stay in. Beautiful and thoughtful touches everywhere and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and fabulous showers! We have 2 dogs and the secure garden and enclosed patio was a bonus for them and us. The views are stunning. The railway runs down in the valley so there is noise from the trains as there is a crossing below. This did not detract for me at all it was really nice to watch the trains go by. Communication from the owners is excellent a comprehensive email contained all we needed to know about the property. There was a lovely and generous welcome pack which contained all we needed to get started plus a bottle of fizz! Hathersage is a pretty village and although small has a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. We enjoyed meals in The Scotsman's Pack and Maazi the Indian Restaurant is excellent we had a takeaway delivered. It has to be said the path down to the barn is very steep (no suprise it's in the description) but I would think twice if very young or less mobile people are in your party also think about transporting luggage/shopping etc but we managed fine. All in all a charming place to stay. We will be returning soon.

tAYLOR'S tOURS
A beautiful barn conversion with all modern facilities. The pathway down to the barn is quite steep and part of it is gravel followed by steps down to the courtyard. Can be difficult for those who have walking or mobility problems, but 2 of our party are aged 81 and 78 and they managed with any problems. But be aware of this when booking. The owners do tell you in their blurb but it should be emphasised. Property would also benefit from a shelf in the master bathroom. But we had a lovely holiday, the views from the barn are excellent and there a numerous walks in the area. Some of these are quite challenging but you are in the Peak District. Try Surprise View for a walk, turn right out of the property and drive a couple of miles and the car park is on the right. A choice of walks available and you will be surprised at the views. A great welcoming basket awaits you at the cottage. We would certainly recommend
