The perfect holiday
The perfect week away and outstanding countryside and amazing cottage nestled away but close enough to visit some wonderful places. We went to Lydford Gorge, Castle Drogo and Meldon reservoir to name a few. The accommodation is faultless along with the hosts who made a wonderful welcome tea. We will be back

Superb tranquil cottage with every home comfort and more
This superbly appointed cottage is situated in a stunning location overlooking, ing rolling Devon countryside. The cottage is beautifully appointed with every home comfort at your fingertips.
On arrival we were greeted not only by the delightful owner, Shoshana, but also by a delicious Devon cream tea with homemade cakes, scones and jam. This set the tone for a fabulous, relaxing week.
The location of this cottage makes it an excellent base for exploring the local area on foot directly from the cottage, following local footpaths through fields and woods, or if you want to venture further afield in the car the coast or Dartmoor are approximately 45 min away.
As the weather was amazing the swimming pool was a real bonus with comfy recliners provided. In the evenings we were able to enjoy a bbq in our own garden area, again with fabulous views of the countryside.
We would thoroughly recommend this property as a rural retreat and hope to return soon. Thank you Shoshana and Edward!

Superb accomodation
We have just spent a lovely week in Wigham Cottage & would thoroughly recommend it. Shoshana & Edward were really friendly & on hand if needed but not obtrusive. Shoshana welcomed us when we arrived & had prepared a lovely selection of cakes for a cream tea which was delicious. The Cottage has everything you could want for your stay, & everything was top quality, Shoshana had thought about every detail to make the Cottage home from home! There were fresh eggs & home made raspberry jam waiting for us & the jam was so nice we bought some to come home! Thank you Shoshana & Edward we hope you have a very successful season.

Wonderful break
Review
We had such a lovely stay in Wigham Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed (and more!) and we commented on how it was the best cottage we had ever stayed in. The owners were lovely to speak to and always on hand if we needed anything. They recommended to us visiting the North Coast and we really enjoyed it. The cottage is ideally located between both the North and South coast, however you don't need to travel anywhere if you didn?t want to; there was beautiful countryside walks straight from the doorstep. The stay overall surpassed all of our expectations and we came home feeling relaxed and refreshed. We would hugely recommend. (Photo from bedroom window )
