Great property in a great location
Nice comfortable property right by the centre of Grasmere. Easy parking and surprisingly quiet. Grasmere is lovely with beautiful walks from the door.

Wonderful property in a great location
Just returned from a one week stay at Stonegarth Mews. In previous years, we have stayed at various hotels in Grasmere, but this year we wanted to be self-catering. Stonegarth Mews is a wonderful property in the heart of Grasmere and near to other attractions (via car or the good local bus service) at Ambleside, Windermere, Kendal and Keswick. The property has been developed to a high spec - a modern kitchen with everything you need, a comfortable lounge area with TV, good sized bedroom and first class bathroom. The owners Attilio and Sharon live nearby and were very welcoming and helpful. Private car parking adjacent to the building was a particular bonus. Although the weather during our stay was both windy and wet, it did not stop us getting around and there are some wonderful walks around Grasmere. We ate in the village on a number of occasions and would recommend Greens (for light lunches) and Tweedies Bar (for an excellent Sunday lunch as well as evening meals). We loved our stay here and fully intend to return to Stonegarth and Grasmere in the near future
