Superb cottage, excellent location
What a superb cottage this is. A great location just off the Main Street in Moffat, very quiet location and no passing traffic. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout and the added touches provided by the owners was an unexpected bonus, welcome basket including shortbread biscuits, whiskey miniature, locally produced toffee and treats for a dog for those bringing a pet, plus a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Very clear joining instructions on how to access the property, where to park etc made everything so simple. Moffat town offers so much choice of where to eat from takeaways to fine dining. We used the cottage as a base to explore the coast around the Solway Firth, Ayr, Edinburgh and Glasgow all of which were easily accessible from the cottage. If you're looking just to relax the cottage is ideal and there is plenty of things to do in the town or close by. Can?t thank Andy & Lynne enough for their hospitality, we'll definitely be back.

Perfect pet friendly cottage
A lovely cosy cottage, and in a great location, it was literally a 2 minute walk to the main street with pubs, cafe's and shops. Although it was so close to the centre it was very quiet and peaceful, no traffic noise or lots of passers by. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was a welcome basket with whisky and some Moffat toffee, even treats for our dog, which was really thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing Stay
Staying Here for 29 nights for a work stay and I can safely say this is one of the best self catering accommodation I?ve stayed in for a very long time. I travel all over Europe with work. The location is fantastic, with plenty of eatery's and drinking establishments nearby. The cottage itself is spotless. TVs in each room, USB charging ports, Good WiFi etc. The Wood Burning stove is an extra bonus in the winter months, it totally makes them nights in front of the Tv much more enjoyable. The Bed is extra comfy, perfect for a good nights sleep after a long day at work. I would definitely recommend this for short stays or for work stays. Location is fantastic. Looking forward to returning next year.

This is one of the best cottages we have had the fortune to stay at. The pictures don't do it justice. We visited for 2 nights with our dog at a time where it was almost impossible to find a property at a decent price. The property sits on an idilic ally way looking over the stunning church. The whole cottage was spotless to the point I was convinced we were the first visitors to stay after a major refurbishment. All the household contents are brand new and in an exceptionally clean condition. For me the stove was the best feature and just made the whole place cosy and warm. Very easy to light and control. Did not need to use the hive heating once. The Retro GPO telephone was a nice touch, and couldn't help but call it to hear the ringer. Beds were very comfortable and although less than half a minute from the busy and beautiful main Street of the town, there was no traffic noise whatsoever. The town itself is full of places for food, drinks and general shopping as well as a few wee quirky shops that you just don't see often. There are Plenty of relaxing walks for the dog just a stones throw from the cottage and the stunning gray mare's tail nature reserve just a 20 minute scenic drive. We have already booked the cottage for new year. Highly recommended.
