Detached house in the fishing village of Hope Cove, sleeping eight in four bedrooms.

Greystone overlooks the village of Inner Hope Cove, within just a few minutes downhill walk to its sandy beaches, pub, shop and cafes. There is also quick and easy access to the South West Coast Path providing beautiful walks to Salcombe, Thurlestone and other coastal villages. The property sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, two double rooms, two twin rooms, three en suites and a family bathroom.

There is an open planned kitchen and dining area, spacious sitting room with wood burning stove and utility room. To the front and side of the house is a superb decked balcony with stunning views and gas fired barbeque. There are mature areas of garden to the front and side of the property with a good sized lawn to the rear.

Greystone is perfect for a family or two families looking to explore the area.

Tired state of repair
Beautiful location but let down by a very poor state of repair, inside and out. Dirty, stained and smelly furniture. Dirty, dog urine smelling and stained old shag-pile rug in lounge area. Mouldy decking to balcony (dangerous), mouldy old patio furniture. Mouldy concrete steps to front and rear access (dangerous). Laminate covering on kitchen cupboard doors peeling off. Warn out laminate on kitchen worktops. Missing summerhouse Urine smelling front porch. The frustrating thing is, it wouldn?t cost much to sort the above but it's certainly not worth £1000p/w in the month of March.

Had a lovely stay to celebrate my 60th Birthday
We booked a 4 night stay at Greystone to celebrate my 60th Birthday at the end of September 2019. The house is lovely, in a great location, very comfortable, and with fantastic sea views. We had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. The weather wasn't brilliant at the start of our break, but when you have such wonderful views from your lounge window who cares! Everything was clean and well maintained, we struggled to understand the recycling and bins but think we got there in the end. Greystone got a 10 out of 10 from us.
