Wembury Old Mill is a historic watermill on Wembury Beach, part of Wembury Marine Centre, now adapted for use as a cafe. The mill is a base for guided nature tours of Wembury Beach, including 'rock-pool rambles', and marine events.
There was a mill on Wembury Beach as early as 1581. The mill ceased operation in 1900, and the miller's house beside the mill is now let as a holiday cottage.
A short stroll from the mill leads to the remains of a WWII pillbox built to protect against a possible beach invasion.
The South West Coast Path long-distance trail runs beside the property and provides excellent walks along the coast in both directions.
