If your idea of a lovely holiday is to be in an area of outstanding natural beauty, spending time in the great outdoors, or on the beach, then look no further - 12 Victoria Terrace is just the ticket! From this fantastic holiday cottage you can enjoy cycling, walking or mountain climbing, or you could just curl up with a good book and a glass of wine in front of the wood burning stove. This charming terraced cottage is in the centre of Nantlle, a pretty little Welsh village, close to the lake and overlooked by the mountains. From the cottage, walk a few hundred yards and you can take your kayak, windsurfer or canoe out on the lake (cannot be accessed directly from the house), or you might prefer a bike ride through the stunning scenery that this area has to offer.

The owner is a keen cyclist herself, and there is a shed suitable for bike storage, kayaks or other outdoor kit in the garden. From here, you could take a trip out to the beautiful villages of Beddgelert and Rhyd Ddu - from Rhyd Ddu you can climb Snowdon (this is one of the more challenging routes, so be warned). The delightful sitting/dining room has a multi fuel stove, two sofas, TV with DVD, dining table and chairs and a piano for those of you who like to tinkle a tune! Through to a charming little kitchen, with natural slate floor and worktops, Belfast sink, electric cooker and hob with extractor, microwave, fridge, there is a pantry with a freezer too, there is a washer/dryer is located in an outbuilding next to the kitchen and there is a bathroom on the ground floor with a roll top bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin.

Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, one with double bed and built in wardrobe, the second twin bedroom has wonderful views over to the lake and beyond and the third bedroom is a double in the attic space. The modern family bathroom is just lovely, with grey slate tiled floor and a spacious shower cubicle. Outside there is a small enclosed lawned garden and decked area with garden furniture so you can sit out for breakfast on a warm sunny day or catch the evening sun after a day filled with activites.

Just a ten-minute drive away you will find the royal town of Caernarfon with its amazing castle, and Bangor is another ten minutes' drive further on. Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog are all a 20 minute drive away, so you won't be short of things to do!
