A very comfortable stay
Recently stayed in this wonderfully decorated mid terrace property. The property is extremely well equipped with all essential amenities, particularly liked the little personal touches such as welcome gifts. We had a very comfortable stay the beds, linen etc were of excellent quality, the owners have certainly put a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests. I received a welcome message from the owner Nathalie - who was lovely I might add, to ensure we had all the information we needed prior to our arrival. A very relaxing break for myself and my family, I?d highly recommend and would certainly stay again. Thank you.

Awful Night
Booked for 7 nights returned after 1 night ! At around 11:30pm, one of the adjacent neighbours started playing very loud music and ?Partying ? This escalated into full scale anti-social behaviour pushing, shoving, arguing, screaming, shouting and swearing at each other directly outside the back of this and our rental property. Doors were being banged and their dog continuously barked and ran around the front and back of the house. It should be noted, that the back of our rental property is shared access for all properties. This was then followed by a domestic between the occupants of the property resulting in more screaming, shouting, swearing, crying and more doors being banged. From start to finish, this whole terrifying ordeal was from 11:30pm to around 5:30am with loud music being played throughout. As mentioned, this ordeal was terrifying for myself and my family and we felt unsafe to stay any longer. The police were contacted and as a result they were going to conduct a welfare check on the occupants due to the amount of screaming and crying heard. At the time of writing this, I am awaiting an update on my West Yorkshire Police Incident Number. ?We contacted both Sykes and the owner and each said to contact the other about the incident. We do understand, that this is not the owner's fault, however, after driving 160 miles to destress and relax, a good will gesture of one night's recompense was not acceptable to us. We all feel exhausted from the lack of sleep and the anxiety caused by this whole experience. This was not the place to stay for a relaxing break.
Nice house but poor location with access via a deeply rutted track more suited to a 4 x4 vehicle with inadequate parking facilities for anything bigger than a Mini.Other possible parking spots were all claimed by the local residents.

Didn?t really enjoy/ came home early
Firstly the road leading to this house ( would not describe as a cottage) , is rough, narrow, uneven, and uncared for, depending on what kind of car you had, it could be seriously damaged, driving down here! Parking was horrendous, could not fit the car outside, so we parked on the corner, went out for a meal, and a camper van was parked there for the rest of our duration.
The house ( not cottage) is one of 5 houses in a row, with a unkept back passage way which was very depressing! the furnishing were simple/ budget, but on the plus side very clean, and haworth is a lovely little place to visit, with a quaint cobbled row lined with cafes, gift shops, etc..... we made the mistake of venturing out into Keighley town centre!! What a dump, rough, full of charity shops, and takeaways! A place to avoid!
We got the impression we would have our own private garden, ( or at least it would be fenced off), but no it was shared, so we had next doors dog wandering into the garden, which upset my dog! ( not to mention the dogs owner who always seemed to be ? creeping about? when we were trying to relax in the garden, we just wanted to relax but unfortunately this didn?t happen here! For the money we paid we expected more!

Not great
Stayed here for a long weekend with family.
For the money we paid I expected better.
The house was clean and tidy, but why oh why would you fit sliding doors, to the back, instead of the front where there is a bit of a view. The back ( which leads out to a very grubby ginnel way) full of dog muck!! Not to mention the dog muck in the garden! ( I use the term ? garden ? loosely,, yes it has a table and chairs, but no pretty flowers/plants/ greenery or even grass , plus it's a shared garden so not strictly private. The house directly behind the garden was very noisy during the day, with kids screaming and shouting, put sitting out reading the paper unbearable.
Parking was a nightmare , we couldn?t fit the car outside as both next door neighbours cars were in the way, and the neighbours were not accommodating, they were very rude to us. The first evening we struggled to sleep as one set of neighbours partied into the early hours of the morning.
Not the relaxing break we were hoping for!
