Folly Lodge is a lovely annexe property on the outskirts of Eggleston, near Middleton-in-Teesdale, in Country Durham. Set over three floors, the property hosts two bedrooms: one first-floor super-king-size (zip/link) and one second-floor king-size with TV and en-suite shower room, sleeping a total of four guests and a family bathroom. The first-floor has an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove and a decked balcony.
Outside has an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and fire pit and ample off-road parking. Folly Lodge is a wonderful choice for a rural break near the North Pennines AONB. Please note: One well-behaved pet is welcome at £25:00.

Xmas break
We have just returned from a fabulous 4day break at Folly lodge. Firstly the lodge is spotless.Has all you need.Decorated for Xmas which was nice.The beds were very comfy .Extremely quiet for a good night's sleep. Ideal for walking the dog in the grounds. We would highly recommend this property to all.

What a gem!
We booked a Mon to Fri stay at this stunning lodge after our family holiday to Turkey was cancelled due to Covid. I can say we were not disappointed at all, beautiful lodge, gorgeous gardens and surroundings and pet friendly too which meant our puppy Willow could stay with us. We were made to feel super welcome as soon as we arrived, the facilities were great, and the views from the bottom of the garden are stunning! The surrounding area is beautiful with some really lovely walks! This place is highly recommended and we would love to return soon!
