This spacious, two bedroom property in Shropshire is able to sleep up to four people and is set in an attractive location on a 200-acre working farm.

Set on a 200-acre working farm, this stone-built, detached cottage has been decorated and furnished in a traditional country style throughout. Boasting original beams and trusses, a lovely patio area with views over the owner's large pond and two good-sized bedrooms, this welcoming home from home provides high quality accommodation for up to four people. Visitors are within easy reach of all local amenities yet the property retains a sense of peace and quiet – ideal for a relaxing break.

Pleasant rural retreat
Lovely property and great location for those who enjoy a rural retreat. The property description is accurate; this IS a working farm so expect all the realistic sights and sounds of animals and farm machinery (which pleased me greatly). The cottage was clean, cosy and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything worked. There are steps at the front and back doors as well as a step in the main corridor so bear that in mind for those with mobility challenges. The views were lovely and especially picturesque in the evening light. There is plenty to do in the locality without having to travel any great distance. There are plenty of brochures in the cottage and previous occupiers have left helpful comments in the visitors? book. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and one to be hopefully repeated in the future.

Had a nice relaxing holiday, this was a fabulous base. Our second visit was just as good as the first. It was quiet, very comfortable and close enough to other attractions for a great holiday. The views were great and it was an extremely chilled place.

The cottage was homely and very comfortable ever thing you need. The Owner was very nice and accommodating.

The views from the cottage were spectacular, even though this is on a working farm we were not disturbed by the daily routine. The owners house is opposite the cottage, but after greeting us they didn't intrude on our space. The wood burner was a treat for us and was made up ready to light with a basket of logs to hand.

The cottage was really lovely, very warm and very comfortable, everything you might need provided, the furnishings were really good quality, no feeling of scrimping, a lot of thought and care has been put into making it feel welcoming and homely.
