Perfect Cosy Cottage in the Peak District
Wonderful cosy cottage with everything we needed for the perfect New Years Eve get away. Beams, brick fireplace & very peaceful. We spent four days enjoying lovely local walks (the Peak District is so beautiful) The Tissington Trail & the local pubs! Amazing food & friendly service at The Shire Horse, less than five minutes walk from cottage, dogs welcomed! Coach & Horses at Fenny Bentley also one of our favourites. We loved relaxing in front of the open fire & so did our Jack Russell & Labrador! Lovely, friendly owner lives next door in a stunning farm house & is on hand if you need anything & was very welcoming. We very much appreciated the Happy New Year card & bottle of Prosecco awaiting us on our arrival, very thoughtful touches. The cottage was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, there was a full scuttle of coal & basket of logs, there was even milk in the fridge for us. Cottage is situated on a beautiful farm with plenty of parking right next to the door. Very impressed indeed & thoroughly enjoyed our stay, can highly recommend.

Church Farm Cottage is an excellent holiday cottage, in a secluded part of the Peak District but close enough to Ashbourne and a good local pub to enjoy all the amenities you need for a relaxing break.

A perfect peaceful haven! Such a cosy little cottage with a warm welcome from the owner who is lovely. Would definitely recommend a stay there if you want to get away from it all. There were lovely local walks nearby. I didn't want to leave and nor did my little dog Maximum
