The cottage was very good and we had everything we needed. It was a good base to explore this part of Northumberland, lovely and quiet and we had a really enjoyable holiday.

We had a great holiday, although the weather was not on our side we did the things we came north to do.

The property was snug, a perfect Valentine retreat for 2, out in the country but near enough to local facilities by car. The butcher in Haydon Bridge is superb! Our hosts welcomed us in a very friendly and helpful manner.
