Fantastic house, excellent hosts
We recently spent a wonderful family weekend here at Heartcliffe View Penistone. Extremely easy to rate this 5*s as the house was immaculately clean and very well stocked. We had three children under seven and two teenagers with us..... it was very easy to keep them all happy/occupied! They spent the whole weekend playing outdoor games in the huge garden and enjoying table tennis/pool in the games room...not a phone or electronic game seen all weekend!! The twin bedroom downstairs was perfect for my elderly grandparents! this house truly is perfect for a little family break/holiday !!! We also had the amazing chef Tom attend to cook all our meals, the food and service was restaurant quality with an amazing personalised service!! I would highly recommend this little luxury!! Finally the husband and wife owners were extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Overall 10/10 for service, cleanliness and venue, would 100% recommend!!!

We stayed here with a family of 11.. it met our expectations. We hired the hot tub Mon-Fri for £165. I did ask if we could hire a inflatable so we could stay based at the house with the children and the elderly but they preferred us not as could ruin the grass but it football grass not perfect garden grass so it definitely wouldn?t have. We then struggled to find things to do with the non mobile so ended up travelling a few hours for attractions.. for walkers though this is paradise.. there are several river walks very close (5 and 10 mins away) the further one has a spectacular waterfall. We got a Asda delivery and ate out locally at the Nelson. The house is very well equipped and the games room is a added bonus.. a Trampoline in the garden and a swing set would be perfect. We took a hover kart and little bikes for the large patio area and nerf guns for a nerf war on the grass.. They are extremely generous in providing all condiments and toilet rolls (we did take own but perfect for those who may only need them infrequent rather than buying) I?ve already recommended this place to others as really is a fantastic holiday house.

50th birthday celebrations
Amazing place will be going back, very well stocked with everything you need, we also had the chef come and make a lovely meal and hired the hot tub which was all set up when we arrived but not warm enough till the next day to use, we took our dog and great walk across the field he loved it, we didn't want to go home, games room was great for the kids and adults we were in it every night till late after the hot tub of course.

Style and Location
We went to Hartcliffe View with a group of 10 children from Taiwan on a trip to the local area. The house was perfect for children- they loved the games room and the PlayStation, the rooms were great and the garden, with a nice-sized football pitch with goal posts was a favourite. The landlord was extremely kind, attentive and left us some nice ?little touches? for our arrival. All in all it was a terrific experience and contributed hugely to our young students experience of the UK. Thanks to Edwin and we hope to come back again!

Outstanding house
I could go over the many lovely things all the previous guests of Hartcliffe view have written but this would become a very long review! So I shall simply say that this house is absolutely stunning and it totally surpassed our expectations. It has been a most wonderful stay with my family and the house was perfect in every way. There is not one thing we would change, the owners were so friendly and helpful and have clearly invested a lot of time in the property as they do their guests. We are already planning a return trip Thank you for having us at Hartcliffe!
