This charming and spacious cottage is situated on a large village green which makes for a picturesque setting. Many walking and cycling routes allow you to fully experience the Eden Valley or up the Pennine Hills beyond. The Lake District National Park which is full of world class beauty spots can be reached in under an hour by car.
Other visitor attractions within easy reach include Long Meg Stone Circle Lacy s Cave Little Salkeld the pub and village bakery at Melmerby and fishing at Blencarn. On entering the cottage you will encounter the incredibly spacious lounge complete with a large leather sofa and armchair; relax by the woodburner (first set of logs included) whilst watching TV with DVD. The kitchen features appliances which include a range cooker electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and a washing machine.
The dining room with table and chairs is placed in a lovingly decorated room with a feature fireplace. Finally on the ground floor there is a shower room with WC. On the second floor are the three bedrooms consisting of two twin rooms and a master bedroom hosting a double.
One of the rooms has table football to while away the evenings. Elsewhere on the first floor is a spacious bathroom with WC. Outside to the rear of the property there is an attractive walled garden with lawn and out furniture which serves as a good suntrap on fine days.
