Perfect central family/dog friendly stay
My family and I have just returned from a week in Kirklands and cannot compliment it enough. From the welcome glass of sherry and chocolates on arrival we felt comfortable and relaxed here. It's location is perfect as it's a short stroll from Fitz Park and the centre of Keswick. Kirklands is huge and we utilised every room, having Sunday roast in the enormous and grand dining room and steak dinner in the cosy kitchen. The snug on the ground floor is perfect for escapees wanting to find peace and quiet and has a recliner that doesn?t want you to leave. The first floor sitting room has a beautiful open fire with lovely views of Latrigg and plenty of comfy sofas and chairs to accommodate several people. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of plump pillows and are decorated in lovely styles. The whole house is kept lovely and warm by the central heating in addition to the fires. We will definitely be rebooking Kirklands in the future and wouldn?t hesitate in recommending it to friends. Huge thanks to Jim and family from the Ash, Smith and Dunn families.

Fantastic house! Absolutely perfect in every way. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and quality bedding. Very spacious- lots of room to find a quiet corner for yourself- if you can drag yourself away from the gorgeous fire! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It takes about three or four minutes to walk to the town centre and there is a very handy and well stocked Spar shop two minutes walk! Thoughtful and generous welcome pack was there on our arrival. Will definitely return to Kirkland's!!

Comfortable , clean and spacious! Would book again
Pet friendly spacious , clean, comfortable , quiet , no faults whatsoever!! Would book again! Enclosed rear garden 2 tv lounges for larger families Plenty of comfortable beds Parking not a problem as we thought it could have been initially with 2 car family Quiet location ten minute walk into town

Beautiful house in great location
We stayed here to celebrate two big birthdays - the house was clean and well furnished - we were surprised at how they had thought of everything . The location is fantastic -2 mins from town but still quiet. Lots of room to dry out wet and dirty clothes after a long walk. The owners were very friendly when we needed to ask them a question - all I can say is 'superb!!?

Kirklands is an excellent property. It was so comfortable. A real home from home! The house was so well equipped, spacious ,and spotlessly clean. All of our party had a fabulous time and can not wait to return again! We have already been recommending Kirklands to people. The certainly will not be disappointed.
