Superb
What a find, it's a cottage with the WOW factor. Its immaculate and has everything you could possibly imagine. The log burner was very welcome after a wet walk and after paddle boarding on Windermere. We didn't want to leave and cant wait to go back. Thank you John, Hazel and Twig for the wonderful welcome.
Best wishes

Fantastic!
Lovely cottage in a great location. Very well furnished and great attention to detail we felt very comfortable and relaxed here. The cottage was great for our kids aged 1&5 as it was all on one level it was great for the little one to cruise around and the 5 year old loved the space and garden with trampoline. The views are fantastic and my kids loved playing with the dog twig really enjoyable holiday will be back!

Absolutely brilliant
This single storey high quality cottage is located on a working farm north of Kendal with great views of the surrounding countryside. It makes a superb base for exploring this part of the UK. The owners John and Hazel are very welcoming and helpful and prepare their cottage to a very high standard.
We have stayed in many cottages over the years and can genuinely say that this one is amongst the two best ones we have ever experienced. The cottage was created from existing farm buildings a couple of years ago and is fitted out with quality furniture as well as being decorated very tastefully. With underfloor central heating throughout it is also very warm and cosy for a winter break and the logburner in the lounge is a bonus. The WiFi is efficient and there are also TVs in the lounge and each bedroom.
In summary, this cottage has absolutely everything you could need for a holiday in this area and we definitely intend to return in the future.
