Great house with beautiful views in a perfect location
The house is just a short walk away from Yarmouth, which has pubs, restaurants and shops - perfect for a gin and tonic in the evening if you are that way inclined. The house is well equipped with everything you could need to prepare food for a large group. All 5 bedrooms have really comfy beds made up with good quality linen and lovely snuggly blankets were a nice touch. The views over the solent from the living room are to die for - definitely my favourite room of the house to sit and relax in. There is a conservatory with plenty of seating as well as garden furniture on the patio with a garden and washing line (very useful when taking small children anywhere). In all the property is perfect for large groups. We will definitely be back!

A lovely house in a very good location
We stayed for a week in this lovely house. Very good size rooms, the view from the upstairs lounge is beautiful - looking out onto the Solent - with gorgeous sunsets. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils, knives etc. Well situated, about a 5 minute walk into Yarmouth with good selection of restaurants, pubs and a local store. We are already planning our next trip!

If you want a large, comfortable house near Yarmouth then this is the place for you. As others have mentioned, the house is nicely situated just a few minutes walk from the very pleasant village of Yarmouth which has a variety of shops and places to eat. There are endless places to walk, ride or drive with something for everyone. The house has large, light bedrooms, nicely furnished, with sinks in some rooms which cuts down the time in the bathrooms for teeth cleaning and shaving etc. Children can try crabbing, just across the road which is better than on the pier. The views from the upstairs windows are unmissable and if you are lucky you will see a million stars when the light subsides. Go see for yourself.

Just add the people
This is an attractive, well equipped and well maintained house and it has been designed with thought and imagination. The bedrooms are large and communal areas attractive, so that guests have privacy as well as convivial times together - perfect for groups or mixed generation families. The off street parking is big enough for three cars. Location is excellent - a short walk to Yarmouth (for breakfast and interesting shops), and the many rural and coastal attractions of the IoW on the doorstep. We had a wonderful Christmas holiday - and cooking Christmas meals for 5 adults and 2 children was easy in the well appointed kitchen.

Nice home, but owner ridiculous.
Very disappointed with the owner. The house was not new, but we liked the layout. It wasn?t properly cleaned as you would expect. She wanted all the dirty beds to be made up when we left, also to basically clean her house, sinks etc. What were we paying for, I asked myself. We asked for a kettle to replace the broken one. We used a sauce pan to boil water for tea for days. The Lino in the hallway wasn?t stuck down properly, and the curtains in the living room were hanging by a thread. So she wanted a lot of money to empty little bins around the house. And she was upset that the dirty towels were in a pile on the floor to be cleaned. Very unreasonable. It seemed that she was just trying to squeeze more money out of a quite expensive holiday. Beware if you stay here. Bring your rubber gloves and some cleaning stuff. Good luck. Ps. Be careful comming out of the driveway. It's very dangerous to enter the road. You?ll see.
