Dreamy Grade II listed honey-coloured stone and thatch cottage in a handy position for exploring the north Cotswolds.

Full of rustic and authentic charm, Spring Cottage occupies a delightful and tranquil setting overlooking the village green and duck pond in the beautiful Wroxton. The property lies in a quiet corner of the village well away from the main road. The Wroxton House Hotel is a stone’s through away while the wonderful landscaped gardens and lakes of Wroxton Abbey (College) offer guests lovely walks through the grounds.

The owners of this picturesque cottage have devoted much time and effort into re-establishing its original character with its magnificent oak beams and stone walls. All the rooms are well presented and give a really homely feel. If you are a keen cyclist wishing to explore the area on two wheels, then you should certainly consider this cosy cottage for short break or longer as there is bike storage available and plenty of routes right on the doorstep.

The two bedrooms are both double with one having a space for an extra single fold up bed. The ground floor bathroom has a bath, sliding door to separate shower room with shower, basin and WC. The thriving village of Wroxton is situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just three miles north west of Banbury.

The ancient village boasts a village green with pond, home to an abundance of wildlife, with its own thatched duck house, many thatched cottages and a country Hotel with bar and restaurant. Abbey grounds/walks open to public most days. Wroxton Abbey is a beautiful 15th century manor house set in landscaped gardens and is located in the centre of this unspoilt village.

The nearby historic market town of Banbury sits on the banks of the River Cherwell in the Cherwell Valley. Spring Cottage is a fantastic, thatched cottage which embodies the typical English village image, and is great for a couple or small family to come and enjoy Oxfordshire.
