Walking down a narrow path leading off a side lane, you stumble upon this pretty brick building set in its own private walled garden. Despite its seclusion, the cottage is perfectly located for the numerous attractions this popular area has to offer.

Pop’s Barn has been well designed to maximise its small interior spaces making a cosy retreat for two people. Inside, the décor is most certainly traditional, with wooden floors and wooden beams through walls and ceilings adding to the period design. Spread across one level there is one double bedroom behind a curtained opening, with ensuite shower room with shower and WC.

Open plan living/dining area with sofa bed. The large garden can provide comfort and relaxation for plenty of guests, with the outdoor furniture being used for al fresco dining in its pretty and sunny garden. The village of Downton rests on the banks of the River Avon, conveniently in between the Cranborne Chase AONB and the New Forest National Park.
