The village of Cardington is a quintessential English village centred around its 12th Century church and adjacent pub, The Royal Oak, which lays claim to being one of the oldest pubs in Shropshire, dating back to the 1650s and mentioned in the Domesday Book. Cardington is perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are miles of country walks through woodland and over the rolling hills of South Shropshire, home to an abundance of bird and wildlife.
