Northumberland Self Catering cottage, Rose Cottage, Alnmouth, sleeps 3

A wonderful week in a lovely place and able to walk to the coast from here
Lesbury seems a lovely village close to Alnmouth. The cottage was a great release after easing restrictions and we had really missed 'seeing the sea?. Place was immaculate, a lot of love and attention has gone into this place. Very clean and stylish. A lovely courtyard at the back allowed us to just chill out and enjoy the late afternoon sun. We also had a great day up at Seahouses for the Farne Islands boat trip - puffins, seals, kittiwakes etc. Stunning scenery around this coast. You can walk to the coast at Alnmouth straight from the door, the beach is lovely, wasn?t busy, families, friends and locals enjoying the sea air. Loads of other places to visit from here. Pleased the little shop in Lesbury is still open. The owners are very attentive but not intrusive at all. Thank you :)

Rose Cottage is beautifully appointed with everything provided for a truly ?home from home? experience. The host is very attentive to ensure you have everything you need, without being instrusive. The cottage is cosy and comfortable, very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Rose Cottage is well positioned; situated in a small country village, with easy access to the pretty coastal village of Alnmouth, as well as an easy drive to good supermarkets and amenities in Alnwick. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful, everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage
Lesbury is a lovely unspoilt village, with a super inn for food and drinks, one door away from the cottage which is perhaps a little too convenient!! There is little post office with lots of lovely 'bits' to tempt you and the essential morning papers and fresh milk. The cottage really could not be any better, immaculate and tastefully decorated, Sue really has thought of everything. The village is so well situated for all destinations on the Northumberland coast so everywhere is reachable. Would love to return one day
