We have just stayed Friday to Monday at Millstone cottage.
Unfortunately we felt a little let down by the cleanliness !! I totally appreciate that the owners are away as it is Christmas and hope that this wouldn?t be the norm. Whilst the bedding and towels were fresh when arriving the floors were all filthy with mud and foot prints and the bathroom had not been cleaned as there was dust everywhere and marked walls. We also had to wash the meat tins and saucepans from the cupboard before using them!! The beds are extremely uncomfortable and mattresses were very thin and springy.
The pluses were the hot tub and the beautiful location.
I hope this is deemed as constructive dismissal as it is a beautiful cottage, just a bit put out with having to clean things upon our arrival.
