Gorgeous
After a year of lockdown and life being stressful my husband stumbled across this adorable quaint cottage on the Internet . We were so thrilled to get a booking so early with the lifting and have just got back from a 3 night stay. Oh gosh it is so lovely, the beams and brickwork give it such a charm. It has everything you need, spotless and just awesome sitting outside with the young cows in the field. There is lovely walks (unless you are like me and get your boot stuck) . We have had such a fun time. Saw deer, Hare, woodpeckers, duck. The peace there is exactly what you need. The farmers Julie & Tony have done a brilliant job, and extremely friendly. Thank you.

Amazing
Had such a lovely time here from being a townie to coming into the country for some peace and quiet. Feeding the calfs is just 1 of the amazing benefits of this place, it's beautiful, quiet and in the not too far from Scotland and the Lake District. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone just wanting that time away for something different. You have the option of relating in front of the fire with a glass if bubbly or heading to the district for some water sports and different forms of activities. The owners are lovely very welcoming and happy to talk to you and help in anyway with your stay. We wish them all the best with their new business venture and hoping to visit again soon.

Fantastic retreat!
Well what can I say this cottage is amazing, so relaxing and a perfect location to get away from it all!! The cottage is surrounded by amazing countryside in a fabulous location with breathtaking views down by the river. Its a great base to explore places such as Keswick, Grasmere and surrounding villages. Tony & Julie are fabulous hosts and very accommodating. . . Nothing is too much trouble, genuinely nice people! The cottage is restful and wonderfully decorated to a high standard with all the mod cons that you could want. Can't wait to come back!!

Fantastic property
Well, what can I say about this property but Wow! The owners Tony and Julie are very welcoming hosts who make you feel very at home as soon as you arrive.
The addition of a bottle of prosecco and a cake on arrival is a lovely touch!
One of the highlights of our trip was being able to feed the calves.
This property is in a brilliant location with easy access to Hadrian's wall, Kielder forest, Carlisle and Hexham. In addition to this is the woodland that surrounds the farm makes for a lovely place to explore with access to the nearby river.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the country.
