The Shieling is a homely cottage resting on the outskirts of Newtonmore in the Cairngorms National Park, Scottish Highland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

The living area in the property is an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box and dishwasher, a dining area, and a sitting area with a TV and electric fire. There is also a communal, on-site laundry room containing a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, there is a shared garden with patio and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars.

Within 200 yards, you will find a shop, and within 0.2, a pub. Please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property.

WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is available on request, however guests must bring their own bedding. The Shieling is an ideal base for a family or group of six's holiday in the Cairngorms National Park.

New Year's Eve Celebration in Newtonmore Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the village of Newtonmore with a torchlight procession (torches available and payable locally) leading to the golf course, guests on arrival can often help themselves to a wee welcome dram from the local Speyside distillery, followed by a fireworks display and a traditional ceilidh to bring in the New Year
