Remote and quiet, maybe a glamping experience for non-campers
The property is genuinely remote and you look out on fields. A residential development over the back is not noisy and almost invisible. The photos of the property are accurate and it is clean. Not all local pubs / restaurants are open in COVID times. We therefore self-catered most nights. The fridge/freezer is tiny so we had to go shopping every 2 days, luckily the Booths supermarket in Settle is excellent. The hot tub works and is very pleasant, although note there is only the one shower and, with 4 of us staying, cold showers happened a couple of times. We have fed back that the central heating wouldn?t work for us, not great weather, but obviously other weeks the heating wouldn?t be needed
