comfortable cozy and excellent stay, big garden
green cottage is so lovely, had everything we needed there, comfortable beds and big bedrooms, loved the shower room again very spacious, garden was great for the dogs we had with us. plenty of space, loved the patio so we could eat out, nice woodburning fire , all rooms was very spacious, the bottle of wine was a lovely touch, about a minutes walk to the local pub which is friendly and welcoming and do nice pub grub, yummy

Love this place.
This is a wonderful base to explore mid Wales The pub is a 2minute walk away . The garden is safe for medium to large dogs. I think it needs some wire netting over the gates for small dogs. There is a lot of sheep activy going on in the road due to lambing and not much rain so the sheep need moving.. As an ex shepherd I love this. A pair of Red kites fly around every day.

Absolutely amazing stay
We stayed here for a week in October 2021. Upon arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at how big the garden and drive was. We went into the absolutely great cottage and had a look around! The pictures do not do this place is huge and has literally everything you need for a fantastic time away home from home! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. The utility room with washing machine was brilliant, somewhere to store shoes and bags etc. Now the shower room was amazing, it was huge and would be great for anyone in a wheelchair. The lounge and dining room was just fantastic the dining room seated six people and the lounge was very cosy and the ceiling light made it very decorative. We especially loved the wood burner and it was cozy when on. Both bedrooms were of a great size and both had a tv. The views were amazing. We could not fault the cottage at all. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who was very nice. The local farmers were so friendly and if you walk up to the next farm, there are free range eggs for sale. The local inn was literally less than a two minute walk, this is a great friendly little place that does food and have the friendliest staff and regulars! We would definitely return here and recommend to anyone. Be prepared though, there are no shops local, the nearest towns are Rhaedar, and Llanidloes, roughly 15/20 mins either way. But worth it to be back to nature and in the middle of nowhere with peace and quiet. To note too, there is no light pollution so enjoy a glass of wine in the garden and watch the milky way come to life. Thank you Brian and Sandra, we will be back x
