Perfect Week in Yorkshire
We've just returned from a fabulous week here. Perfectly located - we visited York, Whitby and a multitude of other places, there is SO much to see and do near here (Hackfall Woods, Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey, Coldstones Cut, Grassington, Nunnington Hall, Druids Temple...) we absolutely loved it. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so cosy, Jenny was super helpful and the perfect host - friendly and welcoming (and finding us matches to light the candles for our pumpkins!). There was plenty of room for our family of four, but it would have been perfect for two couples. Honestly can not fault Barn Owl Cottage, everything we needed, cannot recommend highly enough.

The owner was very friendly and the cottage was super, very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage and wardrobe space. The kitchen area was excellent and well equipped for a holiday let.
