New Year Trip
Was slightly disappointed with our stay over New Year, we were part of a group of 11 that stayed for 5 nights. The pictures of the property need up dating and the property is beginning to look and feel a little tired. The sofas have seen better days and the property had been cleaned but not very well, there were dirty plates in the cupboards if you looked near the bottom of stack, under the sofas there was a lot of dust visible on the wooden floors and I found an old receipt in the bedroom. The outside of the property isn?t the nice clean white/cream colour anymore and has a lot of water marks/stains on the pebble dash, also the table tennis bats had the coating coming off The property is a good size and the hot tub is lovely. The location is very good, easily accessible to a lot of walking spots etc, good pub within a couple of mins walk, good Chinese takeaway also within a couple of mins walk. Driveway easily accommodates 3 vehicles Owner also responded quickly to a couple of issues we had during the stay. It's just a shame the house needs a bit of TLC

Felt completely ripped off
I booked this property at a very high price, ?2300. I imagined that this would be reflected in very high quality accommodation. Unfortunately right from the approach it was clear that the property has deteriorated since the publicity photographs were taken. Our biggest concern was that some of the bedding had not been changed. All the garden areas were unkempt and the area around the hot tub was dirty and very unattractive . That's a brief description. I note that there are no recent reviews and I wonder why. Made a complaint through Sykes and got absolutely nowhere.

This was our second year at this property and it was spot on in every way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner was very friendly. We look forward to returning.

We had an amazing holiday in the meadows. Kids loved it and was great for all the family. Hot tub was magic and table tennis topped it off. If heading back this way again we will try to book here.

This is a lovely large holiday house! We were an extended family, ranging from grandparents right down to a one year old, and even though we had a few rainy days, there was plenty to do in the house. The teenagers took over the table tennis, the younger ones, there were many board games played! Lots of room in the lounge for the babies to run around too. The hot tub was well used, even in the rain! One of the best holiday homes we have stayed in!
