Lovely place to stay
We received a warm welcome on arrival to this lovely warm cottage. It was very clean & spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The position was ideal to explore the Dales, the Lakes & County Durham. Plenty of parking and walks from the cottage. Several decent pubs to eat nearby and very easy to get back to M6 motorway. Many thanks.

The location of the cottage was very central. The cottage was also lovely and warm which was needed as it was cold. The owners were very friendly and helpful but also not intrusive.

The cottage was very comfortable and well appointed with very friendly owners next door. The cottage is in a delightful setting with Ravenstonedale being a very convenient village to explore both The Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales. There were many lovely walks from the village and two excellent pubs serving very good food. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely, cosy cottage
What a find! Friendly owners next door, 2 decent pubs (for beer and food) on the doorstep and Howgill Fells for walking in in solitude but being close enough to the village of RavenstoneDale for a quick return. Just 8 minutes from the M6 too (rather than an hour or more trying to get into the National Park). Would definitely stay here again.
