Adjoining the owners home yet facing outward onto open fields, lovingly refurbished and an ideal base from which to explore some of the prettiest parts of Somerset.

Somerton is famed for hosting fishing competitions, great bird watching, cycling events and an annual Arts Festival and offers good provision of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Art and craft lovers will enjoy the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen and a selection of antique shops.

A little further afield are the Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels, Blackdown Hills, the Quantocks and Exmoor, all offering stunning walks. Nearby are the historic attractions of Regency Bath, Wells and Glastonbury, whilst Clarks Village caters for those seeking some retail therapy. Other attractions easily reached by car include Longleat, Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Wincanton Racecourse and a selection of National Trust properties.
