This property is located five miles from the market town of Sherborne in North Dorset in the quiet village of Leigh. An interesting day can be spent exploring Sherborne with its two castles and historic Abbey as well as its range of shops and choice of restaurants and pubs. Of course Dorset is well-known for its breath-taking Jurassic Coast which lies just thirty miles south of the property offering a wealth of sweeping beaches clifftop walks and opportunities to try out a range of watersports.

Other places of interest in the area include the Haynes Motor Museum the Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Cerne Abbas Giant. The ground floor of this attractive barn-conversion property is occupied by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its beamed ceiling and homely atmosphere. Two sofas provide guests with a comfortable spot in which to relax with a book or enjoy a film on the TV/DVD.

A wooden dining table comfortably seats four behind which the kitchen area running along one side of the room is equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with sloping ceilings and therefore some reduced head-height. The first of these is a double room which benefits from its own TV whilst the second is a pleasant twin room.

The shower room with its shower and WC is also located on the first floor. Outside the property has a delightful patio garden with a table and chairs which enjoys views over the surrounding fields. Guests are also able to make use of a shared games room which offers a snooker table dartboard and a table football table.

The property is located on a non-working part of the owners organic farm but they are always happy to show guests around and introduce them to the resident sheep and chickens. There is secure bike storage available alongside parking for two cars.
