Derbyshire gem!
We had a lovely week here during the beginning of August, mostly dry weather as well! The accommodation and owners are superb, with the owners going out their way to help. We were a part of 6 (5x adults & 1 child aged 2), one of the adult guests is a wheelchair user. The accommodation is lovely and spacious, with every requirement you need from a CD player to a coffee maker, you name it, they pretty much had it! If you fancy baking, the kitchen is well equipped, many thanks for the complimentary wine, eggs & fresh milk etc! The rooms and accompanying bathrooms are modern & spacious, very cosy. The wetroom downstairs was perfect for our accompanying disabled guest! The outside patio area is lovely with fantastic scenic views. My daughter loved the owners chickens! The cottage is a bit hard to find at first, but once you know how to get to it you are sorted! The cottage is also ideally located as it is central to most of the main places in Derbyshire. I can certainly reccomend this accommodation to any who are wanting to spend some quality time in such a wonderful part of our country!

The countryside was beautiful and the accommodation was excellent - a really well done barn conversion. The standards were high throughout, every detail was attended to. The owners in the cottage next door were very welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. We would definitely return if in that part of the world again.

Everything was perfect at The Cow Barn. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, everything was clean and comfortable with lots of thought put in to the decor and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Was really impressed!

The scenery was lovely and the owners were friendly. It was a lovely relaxing break and the beds were so comfortable. We will hopefully be booking again for later in the year.
