We chose this cottage for my husband's 65th birthday celebrations. We could not have picked a better place for 8 of us to get together. The cottage and location were magical. Thank you for making it a special week.

It didn't feel like a holiday let, but just like home, there was a warm and friendly feel about the house and everyone in my party commented on it. The grandchildren are already talking about the next time we come" - and the adults won't need any persuading!

Feels like a 'Home' rather than a 'Holiday Cottage'
This is the second time we have stayed here this year. This property has a reel home from home feel and will certainly be rented by us again. For sure it could do with some modernisation but then it wouldn't feel the same. Plenty of space, generously sized bedrooms and a real farmhouse style kitchen, complete with Aga. The garden could do with cutting back a little as the large tree and three conifers have blocked the view across the river. Having the Saracens Head Inn opposite which is accessed by the hand ferry which embarks to the side of the house is a real plus. Lots to do locally too.

Ferryside cottage was a very spacious property located in a beautiful setting, the garden with the river at the bottom was amazing and there was lots to do in the local area. Overall it was one of the nicest cottages I have ever stayed in.
Mrs Rimmer

A wonderful holiday right on the river; feeding the ducks everyday, catching the boat to the pub and the beautiful walks!
