My car is getting wrecked here
A beautiful place to stay, wonderful views, well furnished, immaculate throughout, ideal for a relaxing family break, apart from-
* Bring toilet rolls, one roll for four people for a week is not enough.
* Be advised that the pillows and duvet are brilliant but are filled with feathers or down. Being allergic to this type of bedding made sleep impossible.
* Major problem - on entry to the farm you drive through two metal gates, in the middle of the drive there is a large piece of raised metal that is fine if you drive a 4x4 or Land Rover or similar but my Mazda is low to the ground and has been seriously damaged as I try to avoid driving over it. Exhaust and tyre damaged.
* Read the Sykes description of the Attic. It clearly states three smart televisions but in fact there is only one. We expected one in the lounge and one in each bedroom. There is only one in the lounge. Disappointing.
If it sounds as if I am miserable, I?m not. The accommodations good, the owners friendly and helpful, but I am sick of having my car wrecked.
