Boasting a fantastic rural setting with simply breath-taking mountain views in the Highlands is this superb country house, Clashindeugle Farmhouse. Thanks to the space it offers, the house is the perfect location for large family gatherings. From the minute you walk into the stunning entrance hall with its traditional wood panelling, you get a flavor of the authenticity of the house and its features.
The spacious sitting room is warm and inviting with ample seating. Some positioned around an enormous open fire , some near the book shelves and a sofa in a feature bay window where you can see the Cairngorm mountains . There is a telescope to see clearer.
Plenty of space to play chess or do jigsaws . Under the stairs are younger children's toys. Everyone is catered for at Clashindeugle Farmhouse with space for the grown-ups to socialise and a dedicated games room for the kids (and big kids!) where you will find a table tennis table, a snooker table , dart board and table football.
The room boasts a feature bay window which showcases the outstanding views of the Cairngorm Mountains. If youâre feeling peckish then step into the welcoming farmhouse kitchen where you can prepare a delicious meal for the family using some of the fantastic local ingredients. Make the most of mealtimes by sitting down around the magnificent dining table which seats 14 people, the perfect spot for enjoying long, relaxing meals in an elegant and attractive environment.
Everyone is catered for at Clashindeugle Farmhouse with space for the grown-ups to socialise and a dedicated games room for the kids (and big kids!) where you will find a table tennis table, a snooker table and table football. Step outside into the extensive gardens, breathe in the fresh Highland air, let the children (and dogs!) run around and relax. Enjoy a hearty meal alfresco around the large table on the patio and take in the views which are simply amazing whatever time of year.
From snow tipped mountains in the winter to wonderful autumnal colours in autumn and lush green hills in the spring and summer, the views are ever-changing and thanks to the lack of light pollution, the star gazing possibilities are endless. Days and evenings are long and memorable at Clashindeugle Farmhouse but when bedtime calls you canât ask for a better choice of places to lay your weary head. The bedrooms are all traditionally decorated with some spectacular views on offer making it the perfect place to wake up in the mornings to truly appreciate the sublime setting.
There is never a dull moment at Clashindeugle Farmhouse with a wealth of activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Close by the farmhouse you can visit a working Highland estate, a must-visit for the children who will love getting hands-on with the animals. Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Steam Railway are all a short drive and will keep even the most hard to please children happy.
Less than half an hourâs drive away there is fishing on offer with a number of golf courses also nearby. For adrenaline junkies you can choose from hang gliding, snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking with loads of exciting trails in the region. For an authentic taste of Scottish country house living, Clashindeugle Farmhouse is a must-visit.

Dogs have the use of a warm underfloor heated drying room plus a stone flagged area in the link & front door lobby plus the kitchen area -when clean and dry! Dogs are not allowed in any other area of the House or Bothy (Annex) or on furniture- this is important for guests with allergies
There are friendly free range sheep and cattle so although the walks surrounding the house are a dogs delight they must be supervised at all times
There is a "haha" in front of the house which might entice some dogs to jump out of Clashindeugle's fenced area
Please note that during the period from the 28th March - 10th of April a 4 night minimum stay is only accepted between the 2nd of April to the 7th April
