Roxton is surely one of the few churches that began life as a barn! The year was 1808, when a Congregational church was established by a Mr CJ Metcalf. The barn has since sprouted Sunday school rooms and evolved into a picturesque T-shaped building with a thatched overhang supported by tree trunks!
The interior is simple, with rustic benches and Gothic windows, and there are good views over Roxton Park from the south wing.
