This was a lovely converted barn; it was comfortable, cosy and in a beautiful part of the country, with lots of sightseeing opportunities within easy reach. It was thoroughly enjoyable and we received a warm welcome on arrival.

Wonderful properties which enabled us as a family to be all together for the first time for some years. Loved the area. The more active members made good use of the variety of waterfall walks and other activities. Friendly hosts. Introducing our grandchildren to the pony was much appreciated. Sauna and spa bath well used throughout (especially by the walkers)! Lovely facilities, lovely people, good pubs in the area, what more could anyone ask?

lovely time
This is a lovely spacious barn, light and relaxed- great for a family group. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and with friendly owners next door. Could have done with a good clean and some maintainance but overall very good. The dog living on the other side of the road is a bit fierce and doesn't like other dogs.

Easy access to lovely open countryside, and lots of historic sites too. Very friendly hosts and dog-friendly environment. Very much enjoyed staying in the barn and seeing the activities of a small farming community.
