Self Catering in Powys - Llanwrthwl

Location was stunning, really amazing, on an estate with the Wye River running alongside. The owners were very friendly and helpful as was the gardener. The cottage itself had everything we wanted, very comfortable and the whole property was very clean including towels and bedding. It was also a good house for taking the dog on holiday with us.This was the best holiday we have had and we would like to return!

The cottage was ideal for anyone with dogs or anyone wishing to undertake an adventure/outdoor holiday. There was plenty of space for outdoor clothing/storage of equipment etc. The cottage was very comfortable and within easy access of the main road with walks on the doorstep.

We had a lovely week staying at this cottage. It is a fantastic location to be able to sit in the garden and watch the river and birds go by. We found it very relaxing and I would highly recommend this as an area to stay. I particularly enjoyed visiting the local Red Kite feeding station and the various walks that can be enjoyed near by. There were various Pubs/Restaurants available in Rhayader should you wish to eat out and the owners of the property were very friendly and close by should there be any issues.
