Trout Cottage is a semi-detached ground floor cottage near to the village of Llanwrthwl in Mid Wales. The cottage sleeps two people and has one twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area.
Outside is off road parking and a garden with outdoor furniture. With three other cottages on site and a spectacular location next to the River Wye, Trout Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage.

Washing up blues!
There was a small water heater under the sink which should have given us 7 litres of hot water but in reality didn't cover the bottom of the washing up bowl. We reported this to the owner who did send out the plumber. When we next saw the owner he told us " It Is what it is I'm afraid". For the whole week we had to boil the kettle in order to wash our pots. I personally don't think this is the way to treat guests. On the plus side the wildlife we saw was amazing!! The river is only metres away where you can watch the antics of the dippers or if you're very lucky as we were see the otters

This is the best accommodation that I have stayed at in the UK and could recommend to everyone and will be returning. There is so much to do and see in mid Wales that I never thought of, and the host's were the top's.
