The Little White House is a wonderful, double-fronted Victorian townhouse in the centre of Bala in the Snowdonia National Park and can sleep twelve people. The Little White House is a lovely base, in a lovely location for family holidays.

Great Location, large house with 12 beds
House has sleeping for 12 adults in four proper bedrooms, plus one 'bedroom' is a walk-through to another. Personally, I wouldn't want to have 12 adults staying as there would have to be sharing, but great for a couple of families for example. There are two bathrooms and a separate toilet. Some of the furniture is a bit ramshackle, one wardrobe door broken, the stairgate not secured properly as screw too short to hold it (not a problem for us as we had no children with us), and cooking is a bit tricky as the cooker is in a different room to the sink and prep areas. Lots of cooking equipment, but all crockery and utensils are spread between the two rooms, so much shuffling through cupboards to find stuff. Also, oddly, large selection of knives in a locked cupboard in the living room - maybe a safety thing? Parking was awkward as they advertised it had two parking spaces, but if you park in them you are blocking the neighbours' garages, and so have to move the cars whenever the neighbour wants to get in or out of the garage - not very convenient at 7am on Sunday morning. The location is fantastic within a couple of minutes of shops, pubs etc on main Bala street. Short walk to Bala Lake, and the rivers of Bala. The house has nice large dining room, and a big living room with TV, DVD player and Wifi, so you can all eat and socialise together. Overall a very nice holiday.

A nice house in an excellent location, handy for shops/pubs, the lake and countryside.

A spacious cottage, nicely located in the centre of Bala next to shops and pubs. Great cooking and eating areas promote a social atmosphere when staying as a family group.
Mr Bassett

It was a fantastic location right next to Bala Lake! And just an hour drive to wherever we needed to go in Snowdonia!
Mr Nangpal

The house was lovely, in a stunning location. Owners were very thoughtful in leaving some essentials in the kitchen for us Would definitely visit again!
