Bird hides are provided, including one hide being suitable for those with limited mobility. There are excellent walks in every direction; travel north for a good brisk walk along the beach to Beadnell, a haven for watersports lovers, or travel south and you reach Embleton Bay, Dunstanburgh Castle and Craster, where you can sample the delights of a crab sandwich in the Jolly Fisherman or pick up some kippers from Robson's famous smokery. There is so much to see and do in Northumberland with Alnwick Castle and gardens, Holy Island, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Berwick all within easy reach.
