Lovely Christmas break in excellent barn conversion
We booked the piggery for a five day break including Christmas Day. What a great choice it was! The cottage is located on a quiet farm and is attached to the owners home. The barn conversion has been done to a high standard with underfloor heating and good shower. They have also managed to retain the stunning original features and character. The cottage is kitted out with everything you could possibly need! This was very handy since we were cooking Christmas dinner. We particularly appreciated the lovely welcome hamper, bread and fridge stocked with milk and butter. Saved us having to dash to the shops on arrival! The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming of both us and our dog. We would 100% recommend this property and hope to stay again ourselves in the future.

What a wonderful find ...from the owners' friendly greeting and yummy homemade cakes and treats to a warm and cosy welcome ...the cottage was decorated in Festive lights and decorations, everything was catered for ..fantastic!! Went for a couple of lovely walks in the Lakes as an ideal base for touring that area. Very dog friendly - Our dog loved it and her dog biscuits!! We were as happy as pigs in muck!!
